Established since 1962 - Our name, 'KWAN CHEONG', stands for ' Prosperity' and 'HO' is an olden saying for a company. We carry out mainly metal & engineering works in relation to cinema and auditorium. Let's have a brief of our company so you can have more ideas of our services, that's what you need!

• In 1970: We built up our own factories and concentrated on manufacturing cinema seating(Connecting chairs), electrical stage curtain & rail system, screen frame, and maintenance as well.

• In 1988: We opened up a division of interior decoration works for the sake of better management. And most of our projects were related to business units such as hotels, offices, health clubs, banks, cinemas, public auditoriums, schools, and godowns.

• In 1990: due to the demand and sport of the clients, we successfully became the sole distributor of 'Seating Concepts, USA/Mexico' cinema & auditorium seating in Hong Kong, Macau, and China, and we started to import cinema seating and cinematographic equipment as well. This opened up our trading unit devoted to introducing high-quality & extensive choices for our valuable clients. Under a competitive environment, we are still supplying cinema seating and maintenance for more than 80% of all cinemas in Hong Kong. This solidly proves our credible quality and services that we have established over 30 years.

• In 1993: for more systematically and efficiently to run business, we changed our company name from 'KWAN CHEONG HO' to 'KWAN CHEONG CHEONG HO CO LTD'.

• In 1994: We successfully acquired the sole distribution rights of 'Laminex HD3' in Hong Kong &  Macau and set up our building materials division. Laminex HD3(high-density board) is a kind of high-abuse material favourable for fabricating toilet cubicles, counter tops, wall panels, hoarding & lockers in various public areas. At the same time, being a distributor of 'Charles Tims Pty Ltd..', we get more solid power in the field of education products. To widen and complete our business, we started to get in touch with several suppliers of related cinema products. 

• In 1997: We became the main distributor of Tivoli Lighting Inc. in Hong Kong, a U.S.A. supplier of step lighting and aisle lighting for cinema.

• In 2001: We also obtained PNC West Inc.'s consent to distribute their acoustic wall panel for cinemas in  Hong Kong.

• In 2003: We have successfully been the sole agent of 'Ferco Seating System (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Hong Kong, Macau and China, which broadens our supply of cinema, auditorium and lecture seating, especially 'WRIMATIC' Tablet - the writing tablet is aesthetically designed for heavy-duty usage with a bigger writing board to accommodate an A3-sized paper.

• In 2004: We became the sole representative of Eglin Concourse International, which is one of the leading companies in international airport seating, to deal with all seating projects in Hong Kong, for example, Hong Kong International Airport and Lo Wu Check Point... etc. Besides, we also successfully got the right from Eomac to distribute 'Pro-stretch System', a site-built acoustic wall treatment which is installed quickly, saving time and design design-friendly system.

• In 2005: We set up a joint venture named Bao Ding Ferco Seating (China) Co., Ltd. with Ferco Seating System (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Heibei Shuaikang Seating Co. Ltd. mainly to broaden our supply of cinema, auditorium, and lecture seating in the Chinese market.

• In 2006: We completed several sizable projects in Hong Kong & Macau, such as City Hall, Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, City University and Chinese University, Macau Science Centre & UA Galaxy in Macau, China, etc.

• In 2008: We have obtained nearly 100% market share of cinema chairs in the Hong Kong market. Forecasting, going ahead with our business, we seek to source new products and technology to meet the great demand of building materials and furniture in Far East Asia and Mainland China.

• In 2020: We collaborated with Taiwan’s Westrex Company to obtain the agency rights for NEC projectors, QSC audio, Dolby products, and Harkness cinema screens in Hong Kong and Macau, officially starting the comprehensive development of cinema-related businesses. 

• In 2023: our company gradually obtained the agency rights for the Australian audio brand “Krix” – commercial cinema series, and the Korean “Screen Solution” cinema screens in Hong Kong and Macau. Our company is committed to bringing different high-quality products to the market, providing customers with various choices.  In the same year, we also obtained the agency rights for Qdboss products, mainly selling acoustic ceilings and wall panels for cinemas. 

• In 2024: considering the trend of LED screens in the cinema market, after extensive market research, we finally selected HeyLED as our partner company. HeyLED is one of the DCI-certified LED cinema screens in the market and has exclusive pixel fill technology, making LED displays less glaring.
